Four Noble Truths
The Four Noble Truths were taught by the Buddha in his first teaching of the Dharma after his actual enlightenment. Known as the truth of suffering; the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path to the cessation of suffering, these basic doctrines form the backbone of all Buddhist traditions. Not to be discouraged by the first truth of suffering, students of Buddhist philosophy strive to realize all four truths in their quest for ultimate happiness and release from ÃÂsufferingÃÂ. Join Geshe Dakpa in this insightful background and explanation on all four truths; the sixteen aspects, and how they lead to the perfect fulfillment of Enlightenment.
